Arduino CTC GO! - Core Module / AKX00015

Arduino CTC GO! - Core Module / AKX00015 is a training kit that allows you to engage university students in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics) projects, teaching them in a playful way how to use technology as a tool for solving real-world problems. The kit also provides full support for teachers through webinars, videos, and direct contact with an expert. In addition, these lessons teach students important 21st century skills such as collaboration, problem solving, critical thinking, and communication.

All support is currently provided in English only.

The modular interdisciplinary CTC GO! program includes all the materials needed to train 24 students in 20 45-minute sessions, but can also be used to train groups outside of universities who are interested in this area.

TheArduino CTC GO! - Core Module is aligned with the National Curriculum for England, which is used in international schools around the world, and the US NGSS for STEAM subjects for students aged 14 to 17. It includes eight lessons, eight guided projects, and six independent projects that teach students how to use electronics and introduce them to programming and coding. The lessons progress from the very basics to different programming and circuit building options for different sensors and actuators. During the six guided projects, students practice building structures and applying the knowledge gained in class.

The kit provides access to the learning platform for 1 year, which is activated and starts counting down when the product key is activated by the first user. Access is activated for exactly 1 year and cannot be terminated or renewed later. The software platform includes step-by-step instructions, assembly videos, and lessons to help you get started with programming, learn electronics, and create fully functional interactive projects (teachers also have pre-access to this platform so they can prepare and adapt their lesson plans); support, including a welcome training webinar with an Arduino Education expert, tutorial videos explaining the concepts of each lesson, short videos that explain the content of the lesson, and direct email support from an Arduino Education expert.

The Arduino CTC GO! - Core Module kit includes:

• 8 Arduino UNO WiFi Rev2 programmable boards: WiFi enabled, with the ability to read inputs and control outputs
• 8 Arduino Education boards that connect to the programmable boards to extend their functionality and have an SD card reader and audio jack
• Two packages including electronic components, resistors, LEDs, buttons and buzzers of different sizes for each board
• Sensors, including potentiometers, light and ultrasonic sensors
• Eight 9V batteries with two battery connectors each - jumpers and USB cables
• Modular elements to build eight different guided projects
• Components for each group of students with everything they need to work in experimental lessons
• Replacement components and parts for the Classroom Management Software platform for teachers with all the materials needed for each lesson, lesson preparation resources, content tips, recommendations, and curriculum links.
