Description

The Raspberry Pi NoIR Camera Module v2 is a high quality 8 megapixel Sony IMX219 fixed focus image sensor designed specifically for the Raspberry Pi board. The sensor supports images with a resolution of 3280 x 2464 pixels, as well as 1080p30, 720p60 and 640x480p60/90 video. It connects to the board via small connectors on the top of the board and uses a special CSi interface designed specifically for camera use. The sensor itself is small, only 25mm x 23mm x 9mm. It weighs about 3 g, which is ideal for mobile or other small applications where weight and size are important. A short ribbon cable is used to connect to the Raspberry Pi board.

8 megapixel camera is capable of taking infrared photos with a resolution of 3280 x 2464 pixels
Video recording in 1080p30, 720p60 and 640x480p90 resolutions
All software is supported on the latest version of Raspbian Operating System
