Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3 Lite / Computing computer module
We do not store credit card details.
The Compute Module is a modified Raspberry Pi board, the main difference being that the module is much smaller and does not have any external connectors. To develop devices based on the Compute Module, you need to use the Compute Module Development Kit.
Compute Module 3 contains the same technical components as Raspberry Pi 3 (BCM2837 processor and 1GB RAM). Thanks to its quad-core processor, the Pi 3 runs at 1.2GHz, which is ten times faster than the Pi 1.
- Broadcom BCM2837B0, Cortex-A53 (ARMv8) 64-bit SoC @ 1.2GHz
- 1 GB LPDDR2 SDRAM
This is all integrated into a small 67.6 x 31mm board that plugs into a standard DDR2 SODIMM socket (such as those found in laptops). The processor interfaces are accessible to the user through connecting pins. You get the full flexibility of the BCM2837 SoC (which means you have many more GPIO connectors and interfaces available to you compared to a standard Raspberry Pi), so implementing the module into a user's system should be relatively easy.
Below are the available versions of the CM3:
- CM3/Lite: No eMMC flash memory, the SD card interface is moved to the module's pins so that the user can choose to connect to eMMC or to an SD card.
- CM3/4GB: 4GB flash memory
