Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3+/8GB / Computing computer module (CM3+/8GB)
We do not store credit card details.
The Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3+ is a modified Raspberry Pi board, the main difference being that the module is much smaller and does not have any external connectors. To develop devices based on the Compute Module, you need to use the Compute Module Development Kit.
The CM3+/Lite Compute Module contains the same technical components as the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ (BCM2837B0 processor and 1 GB of RAM). The only difference from the Pi 3 Model B+ is that the CM3+/L does not have built-in flash memory.
- Broadcom BCM2837B0, Cortex-A53 (ARMv8) 64-bit SoC @ 1.2GHz
- 1GB LPDDR2 SDRAM
All of this is built into a small board (67.6 mm × 31 mm) that plugs into a standard DDR2 SODIMM socket. The processor interfaces are accessible to the user through interconnecting pins. You benefit from the full flexibility of the BCM2837B0 SoC (which means that you have many more GPIO connectors and interfaces available to you compared to a standard Raspberry Pi), so implementing the module into a user's system should be relatively easy.
To make it easier for you to design a PCB for the module, we offer an open source board that comes with the CM3+/32GB and CM3+/Lite in the Compute Module Development Kit.
Below are the available versions of the CM3+:
- CM3+/Lite: No eMMC flash memory, the SD card interface is ported to the module pins so that the user can choose to connect to eMMC or to an SD card.
- CM3+/8GB: 8GB flash memory
- CM3+/16GB: 16GB of flash memory
- CM3+/32GB: 32GB of flash memory
