The Waveshare TOF Laser Range Sensor (D) is a high-precision laser distance sensor based on TOF (Time of Flight) technology. With an integrated microcontroller and range determination algorithm, this sensor is capable of determining the distance to an object (up to 50 m) using a laser pulse, which provides fast and accurate measurements (accuracy ±3 cm). It is ideal for applications that require reliable and accurate distance control, such as robotics (robot avoidance of obstacles), automation, intelligent control systems (route planning, drone altitude, tank level, etc.), and industrial projects.
