Arduino Micro With Headers / A000053

The Arduino Micro With Headers / A000053 (with soldered connectors ) is currently the smallest board in the Arduino line. The Arduino Micro is based on the ATmega32U4 microcontroller with a built-in USB connector, thanks to which the Micro is recognized as a mouse or keyboard.

The board has 20 digital inputs/outputs (7 of which can be used as PWM and 12 as analog inputs), a 16MHz frequency generator, a micro USB connector, ICSP pins for in-circuit programming and, of course, a Reset button. The board contains everything you need to support the microcontroller - just connect it to your computer using a micro-USB cable. The small size of the board allows you to connect it directly to a breadboard.

The Micro is similar to the Arduino Leonardo, they have the same ATmega32u4 microcontroller with integrated software support for USB connection, which allows you to do without a second processor on the board. This allows the board to appear to the computer not only as a virtual COM port, but also as a HID device (mouse or keyboard).
