Embedded PCA9685 chip, provides 12-bit hardware PWM for motor speed control
Built-in TB6612FNG dual H-bridge motor driver provides high efficiency with low heat
Built-in 5V regulator, output current up to 3A, has the ability to be powered by battery via VIN terminal
Has reserved I2C control pins that allow for interfacing with other control boards
Comes with development resources and guidance (examples in BCM2835, wiringPi and python)
