BBC micro:bit V2 Kit microcomputer

The BBC micro:bit V2 Kit is a kit for studying the operation of a micro:bit single board computer (SBC). This microcomputer contains an NRF52 application processor and various peripherals that can be connected to it. The KL27 interface processor is connected to the application processor and controls data exchange via the USB interface.

The micro:bit V2 microcomputer expands the line of first-generation micro:bit microcomputers based on the ARM Cortex-M0 processor and offering high performance.

The interest in this microcomputer was created when the BBC, together with major technology companies (including the chip manufacturer Nordic Semiconductor), distributed 1 million microcomputers free of charge to children. This microcomputer was distributed to British schools as part of a special project. As of 2018, the number of microcomputers produced exceeded 2 million.

This computer is designed with programming environments and provides users with an interesting way to learn programming and stimulates technical creativity.

• The 2.4GHz radio module with a channel width of 1Mbps or 2Mbps is used to communicate micro: bit boards with each other in the "Radio" mode, and the Bluetooth 5.1 with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocol is supported for communication with other devices and wireless firmware on the microcontroller
• JST connector- additional design possibility to connect an external power supply 1.8V .. 3.6V (190mA max)
