Raspberry Pi UPS HAT expansion board (18306)

The Raspberry Pi UPS HAT (18306) expansion board is designed to provide uninterrupted power to the Raspberry Pi microcomputer. It provides stable power supply to the device with a voltage of 5 V. When powered from an external source, the batteries are automatically recharged. If the external power supply is lost, it automatically switches to the built-in power supply, which ensures uninterrupted operation of the system.

The design of this expansion card is fully compatible with the mounting holes of the Raspberry Pi board, and communication is carried out via a single 40-pin GPIO connector.

Real-time monitoring of the battery status allows the system to operate autonomously, and when the minimum battery level is reached, a soft software shutdown of the system can be performed without data loss.

The following data is monitored:

1. Load Voltage - Battery voltage

2. Current - Current value of the current (negative value when discharging and positive value when charging)

3. Power - Current power consumption

4. Percent - The remaining charge of the batteries

ATTENTION! Rechargeable batteries are not included in the package. The length of the installed batteries should not exceed 67 mm. Some battery models with a built-in protection board exceed this limit and are not supported by the board.
