Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W

The Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W microcomputer is the next generation of the Raspberry Pi Zero W in the same form factor, but the difference is that the board has a quad-core 64-bit Arm Cortex-A53 processor with a clock frequency of 1 GHz. It is based on the Raspberry Pi RP3A0 system-in-a-package (SiP), which integrates a Broadcom BCM2710A1 matrix with 512 MB of LPDDR2 SDRAM. The upgraded processor provides the Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W with 40% more single-threaded performance and five times more multi-threaded performance than the original single-core Raspberry Pi Zero.

The Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W is ideal for use in smart home and other Internet of Things (IoT) applications. With its tiny size but impressive class-leading performance, it can be used in a variety of projects ranging from CCTV cameras to Bluetooth speakers.

The Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W offers 802.11 b/g/n 2.4 GHz wireless LAN and Bluetooth 4.2, as well as Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) support and modular compliance certification.

The board has a microSD memory card slot, a CSI-2 camera connector, a USB On-The-Go (OTG) port, and a 40-pin unsoldered GPIO connector. The microcomputer is powered by a micro USB connector. Video output is provided via the mini HDMI port. If necessary, the composite video output can be easily made available via control points.

With the same form factor as the original Raspberry Pi Zero, the Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W fits into most existing Raspberry Pi Zero enclosures.
