Description

The Arduino MKR 485 shield / ASX00004 expansion board allows you to control various industrial devices, such as drives, controllers, including programmable ones, human-machine interfaces (HMI) using the RS-485 protocol. It provides an opportunity to transform old industrial systems (for example, heating system equipment or conveyors) into IoT devices via a serial connection using the MKR 485.

The board's functionality is based on the MAXIM MAX3157 and provides half-duplex/duplex operation.
