Arduino Education Starter Kit / AKX00023 is a kit for teaching students the basics of electronics and programming. The peculiarity of this kit is that it does not require any previous experience and knowledge, and the work is based on step-by-step training according to the instructions and prompts of the teacher. The kit comes with a set of software and hardware that will allow you to use the Arduino Education Starter Kit to learn at a convenient pace for students. The kit also promotes vital 21st century skills such as collaboration and problem solving.
The kit contains everything you need for 8 students. The kit comes with step-by-step instructions, notes for the teacher, exercises and other information to broaden the students' horizons and knowledge in the field of microelectronics.
The online platform contains all the content needed to organize training: exclusive training materials, study tips, nine 90-minute lessons (each lesson builds on the previous one, providing an additional opportunity to apply previously learned skills and concepts) and one 180-minute project lesson:
Getting Started (30 minutes).
Lesson 1 - Fundamentals of electricity (90 minutes).
Lesson 2 - Ohm's Law (90 minutes).
Lesson 3 - Traffic signals (90 minutes).
Lesson 4 - Dimmer (90 minutes).
Lesson 5 - Holiday Lights Project (90 minutes).
Lesson 6 - Sports robot (90 minutes).
Lesson 7 - Windshield wipers (90 minutes).
Lesson 8 - Music keyboard (90 minutes).
Lesson 9 - Light wave radar (90 minutes).
Lesson 10 - Greenhouse control system design (180 minutes). Students will complete an open-ended project to design, build, and program a climate control system for a greenhouse. The project must meet the goals, criteria, and constraints of the project.
Students also receive individual work logs to complete as they progress through the course.
