TheLC29H(BS) GPS/RTK HAT Expansion Board (25280 ) is a component that provides dual-band global positioning capabilities for projects using the Raspberry Pi. It utilizes Dual-band L1+L5 positioning technology to provide more accurate geolocation results.

The main feature of the module is the use of two frequency bands (L1 and L5), which allows you to get more accurate and stable coordinates during positioning (at the level of centimeters). The optional RTK (Real-Time Kinematics) function provides even greater accuracy in real-time measurements.

The module is designed specifically for easy integration with the Raspberry Pi, making it an ideal solution for geolocation and navigation projects. It can be used for a variety of applications, such as tracking systems, IoT projects, or autonomous vehicles.

The LC29H Dual-band GPS module extends the Raspberry Pi's global positioning capabilities by providing highly accurate location data for a variety of applications.

Ideal for real-time tracking systems and cost-effective application sharing, it helps develop applications such as drones, smart farming equipment, shared two-wheeled vehicles, and more.

  • Supports simultaneous tracking of dual-band L1+L5 satellite signals, reducing the effect of multipath propagation in urban canyons and improving positioning accuracy
  • Supports simultaneous reception of multiple GNSS systems (GPS, BDS, GLONASS, Galileo and QZSS) while maintaining low power consumption
  • Supports raw GNSS observations and correction data output, suitable for RTK base station installation
  • Features a built-in low noise amplifier and acoustic surface filter to realize high sensitivity of -165 dBm and improve anti-interference performance
  • Supports multi-frequency active jamming, effectively suppressing or eliminating narrowband signal interference (WiFi/2/3/4/5G) to ensure navigation accuracy
  • Supports A-GNSS (Assisted GNSS), which reduces the time to first fix (TTFF) with a cold start at power-on to 5 seconds
  • Supports QGNSS software, has easy customization of various module functions
  • Has a built-in battery holder and supports ML1220 rechargeable battery for ephemeral information storage and hot start
  • Has built-in 4 LED indicators for module operation status
  • Comes with online development resources and manual (Python examples for Raspberry Pi/Jetson Nano)
