TheUPS Module Mini expansion card (24760 ) is a compact device that provides reliable power for electronic devices. This module can simultaneously charge and power devices and has an output power of 5V and a current of 2.5A. It is capable of simultaneously charging batteries and providing power output from an external power source. It automatically switches to battery power if an external power source is not available, maintaining a stable power supply for system operation.
This device is especially useful for applications where continuous power is essential, such as monitoring systems, automation, IoT projects, and to provide uninterrupted power to small devices during a power outage. It allows you to keep your devices running without interruption, even during a power outage.
Key features
- Provides I2C bus communication, real-time monitoring of voltage, current, power, and remaining battery capacity
- Has multiple function pins built-in, providing two methods of charging and discharging via pads and pin connectors
- Has multiple battery protection circuits: overcharge/discharge protection, overcurrent protection, short circuit protection and reverse protection, and charge equalization function, more safe and stable
- Has a built-in 5V regulator that provides a constant output current of up to 2.5A
- Has built-in warning lights that make it easy to check if the battery is connected correctly and the charging status
- Comes with online development resources and manual

Pinout:
IN: Input power (5 V 3 A)
OUT: UPS output (5 V 2.5 A)
GND: ground
UPS OFF: Turn off the UPS output power when connected to the PWR pin
BOOT: activation of the batteries (pull low for 500 ms and then raise high)
CHARGE: charge indication (low level indicates charging)
SCL: I2C clock
SDA: I2C data
PWR: UPS ON/OFF (If the built-in UPS switch is off, the UPS output power will be turned off when the power supply is connected to the UPS OFF pin and turned on when connected to the GND pin)
Note. When using the charging and discharging pin connectors, it is recommended to connect all input and output pins for 2.5A output current to reduce the voltage on the pins
