Description

The BeagleY AI microcomputer is a microcomputer specifically designed to run artificial intelligence applications. Powered by the high-performance AM67A AI machine vision processor from Texas Instruments, BeagleY®-AI delivers up to 4 TOPS of deep learning performance and simplifies the creation of face recognition systems, touchless HMIs, and real-time automation projects. It will be useful for manufacturers, hobbyists, students, and professional developers.

The processor features four 64-bit Arm®Cortex®-A53 cores with clock speeds up to 1.4 GHz, two versatile C7x DSPs and two Matrix Accelerators (MMAs), an ISP accelerator, GPU cores, and multiple Arm Cortex-R5 cores for low-power, low-latency GPIO control. Users can maximize this computing power with high-speed PCIe, USB3 interfaces and flexible media I/O to enable cost-effective multi-camera and multi-display systems.
The BeagleY®-AI's 40-pin expansion connector allows for breadboard- and solderless system prototyping with countless compatible sensors, actuators, and connectivity options. And because the design is open source, professional and advanced users can also freely modify the hardware to take control of the supply chain, manufacturing, and create derivatives that are optimized for cost, size, and use case.

This microcomputer is designed for applications in robotics, factory and building automation, test and measurement, medical, human-machine interfaces (HMI), and intelligent vision systems (image classification, object detection, semantic segmentation, etc.).
