TheNVIDIA Jetson Nano UPS Expansion Card (18307 ) is designed to provide uninterrupted power to the NVIDIA Jetson Nano microcomputer. It provides a stable 5V power supply to the device and displays battery status information on the board's built-in OLED display. When the microcomputer is powered from an external source, the batteries are automatically recharged. If the external power supply is lost, an automatic switch to the built-in power supply occurs, ensuring uninterrupted system operation.

Main functions:
- real-time monitoring of voltage, current, power and remaining battery capacity;
- 0.91" OLED display for displaying information about battery voltage, IP address, RAM usage, etc;
- communication via I2C bus;
- overcharge / discharge protection;
- overcurrent protection;
- short circuit protection and reverse protection;
- charge equalization;
- output current up to 2.5 A;
- battery polarity indicator - signals when batteries are installed in the wrong polarity.

The design of this expansion board is fully compatible with the mounting holes of the Jetson Nano Developer Kit, and communication is carried out via a single 6-pin I2C connector.
Decoding of the connector pins:
3V3 - 3.3V input
5V - 5V output
GND - Ground
SDA - I2C data pin
SCL - I2C clock pin

Real-time monitoring of the battery status with data output to the built-in display allows the system to operate autonomously, and when the minimum battery charge level is reached, a soft programmable shutdown of the system without data loss can be performed.

The display shows the following data:
1. IP address
2. Power mode
3. Voltage on the batteries
4. Current current value (negative value when discharging and positive when charging)
5. Remaining charge of the batteries
6. Current value of energy consumption
7. CPU usage
8. GPU usage
9. RAM memory usage
10. Use of storage (disk)
Purpose of the main elements and blocks of the board circuits:
1. 5V regulator, providing an output current of up to 2.5 A in continuous mode
2. Battery polarity indicator. The red LED lights up if the polarity is reversed during installation
3. Monitoring of voltage and current
4. Equalizing the battery charge

ATTENTION! Rechargeable batteries are not included in the package. The length of the installed batteries should not exceed 67 mm. Some battery models with a built-in protection board exceed this limit and are not supported by the board.
