The Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 PoE UPS Base Board (22849 ) is an uninterruptible power supply and PoE base board designed for the Raspberry Pi CM4 compute module, suitable for evaluating the Raspberry Pi CM4 compute module or integrating it into end products. It is capable of simultaneously charging the batteries and providing power output for the system from an external power source. The system automatically switches to battery power if an external power source is not available and keeps the system running smoothly. The board is housed in a metal protective case designed specifically for this board model. The case has holes for convenient wall mounting.

Suitable for Raspberry Pi applications that require binocular vision or other industrial context, etc.

Dynamic control of power supply options:

• Three external power supply options: USB interface, wide voltage DC, and PoE
• When connected to an external power supply, the system is powered and the battery will be charged at the same time. The battery will be disconnected when fully charged to avoid reducing battery life due to frequent charging/discharging
• When the external power supply is insufficient, the battery will provide the output power together with the external power supply at the same time to ensure the normal operation of the system
• When the external power supply is connected, the system will continue to operate normally even if the battery fails or is removed. When the external power supply is disconnected, it automatically switches to battery power without interrupting system operation

The board is equipped with overcharge/discharge, overcurrent, short-circuit and reverse polarity protection circuits and an autonomous fuse for each battery

The board has a built-in system for real-time monitoring of battery voltage, current, power and remaining capacity via I2C. When the voltage drops too low, files can be saved appropriately and then the system can be programmatically shut down to avoid data loss.

The metal case has precise cutouts with clear markings. Each cutout is exactly the same as the corresponding connector

Supplied with a cooling fan, which in combination with the ventilation hole provides better heat dissipation.
