IQaudio DAC Pro expansion card

The IQaudio DAC Pro expansion card provides the highest quality (Hi-Fi) audio output for the Raspberry Pi. It uses a Texas Instruments PCM5242 DAC for high signal-to-noise ratio, supports balanced/differential output in parallel with phono/RCA line-level output, and includes a dedicated headphone amplifier.

It is compatible with the following devices: Raspberry Pi 1 Model B+, Raspberry Pi 2, Raspberry Pi 3 or Raspberry Pi 4.

The IQaudio DAC Pro expansion card plugs directly into the Raspberry Pi's GPIO connector and does not require an additional power supply.

It has two 3-pin connectors (P7/P9) that are used by an optional XLR board to provide differential/balanced output via XLR connectors above the Raspberry Pi's USB/Ethernet ports.

P1: analog output (0-2 V RMS). Carries GPIO27, MUTE signal, left and right channel, and left and right ground.

P6: headphone jack signals. Pin 1: left channel, pin 2: EARTH, pin 3: right channel, pin 4: GROUND, pin 5: DETECT

P7 / 9: Differential output (0-4 V RMS). P7: left channel, P9: right channel.

P10: Alternate 5V input, providing parallel power to the Raspberry Pi.
