The Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ (RPI3-MODBP ) is a full-fledged single-board computer the size of a bank card. The Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ is an improved version of the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B. The model is based on the BCM2837B0 SoC (system-on-chip), which includes a 4-core ARMv8 64-bit processor with a 1.4 GHz operating frequency and a powerful VideoCore IV video processor.
The Raspberry Pi 3 Model B was the first Raspberry Pi to feature wireless and Bluetooth connectivity. Raspberry Pi Model B+ has the same features, but unlike its predecessor, it has Bluetooth version 4.2.

Raspberry Pi was developed as an affordable platform for experimentation and education in computer programming. The Raspberry Pi can be used for many things similar to what a regular desktop PC does, including word processing, spreadsheets, high-definition video, games, and programs. USB devices such as keyboards and mice can be connected via the board's four USB ports.
A distinctive feature of Raspberry Pi microcomputers is the presence of a 40-pin GPIO connector for controlling various devices and its small size, thanks to which the Raspberry Pi can also work as a programmable controller in a wide variety of robotics and electronics applications. Alternatively, it can be combined with the Pololu A-Star 32U4 Robot Controller LV with Raspberry Pi Bridge to create a controller for this small robot.
Thanks to the standard 40-pin GPIO connector, the microcomputer can be connected to various expansion cards to add the necessary functionality.
The Raspberry Pi can work with a wide range of ARM GNU/Linux distributions, including Ubuntu Snappy Core, Debian, Fedora and Arch Linux, as well as Microsoft Windows 10 IoT Core.
