Arduino Sensor Kit - Base / TPX00031
We do not store credit card details.
The Arduino Sensor Kit - Base is the easiest way to start learning about sensors and actuators in conjunction with the Arduino UNO microcontroller. This kit is assembled on one convenient board and allows you to connect and program the basic Grove modules, which include both sensors and actuators. Grove is a modularized and ready-to-use open source toolkit that uses a block-based approach to assemble electronics. The kit includes a base board to which various Grove modules can be connected individually or together in various combinations. All modules use the Grove connector, which connects each component to the Base Shield in a couple of movements. An Arduino UNO board can be installed on the Base Shield and programmed using the Arduino IDE.
The Arduino Sensor Kit was developed in collaboration with Seeed Studio and provides the Arduino community with the ability to create projects with minimal wiring and coding costs.
Note: The Arduino Uno microcontroller is not included in the kit!
Contents of the kit
Hardware:
1. A base board with a connector for connecting the Arduino Uno microcontroller, 16 Grove connectors are located on the base board:
- 7 digital connectors
- 4 analog connectors
- 4 I2C connectors
- 1 UART connector
2. 10 Grove modules:
The LED. A module with a light-emitting diode. The LED can turn on, off, and change the brightness.
The button. The button module. The button can be fixed either in the ON or OFF position.
The potentiometer. The potentiometer module. A variable resistor that allows you to change the resistance of the circuit depending on the angle of rotation of the handle.
The buzzer. Buzzer module. It can play binary sounds.
The light sensor. Light sensor module. A photoresistor that changes its resistance depending on the light.
The sound sensor. Sound sensor. Equipped with a built-in microphone.
The air pressure sensor. The air pressure sensor. Measures atmospheric pressure and transmits data via the I2C interface.
The temperature sensor. The temperature sensor. Capable of measuring temperature and humidity at the same time.
The accelerometer. The orientation sensor (accelerometer). Used to detect movement.
The OLED screen. The OLED screen simplifies the display of digital data and notifications.
3. The kit includes 6 Grove cables that allow you to quickly connect Grove modules without additional soldering.
Software.
The manufacturer provides a special library for the Arduino sensor set - a shell that contains links to other libraries associated with specific modules, such as an accelerometer, air pressure sensor, temperature sensor, and OLED display. This library provides an easy-to-use API to help build a clear mental model of the concepts for use in training.
Training materials
The manufacturer provides access to an online learning platform with a large number of completed training projects and sample programs for various Grove modules.
