The KD040WVFID026-01-C025A has a 3.97-inch TFT display with two connectors. A J4 connector for video signals (DSI) and a J5 connector for touch panel signals. The resolution of the TFT display and capacitive touch panel is 480 x 800 with a pixel size of 0.108 mm. The touch module is connected to the main board via I2C.
The edge LED backlight is controlled by the LV52204MTTBG (U3) LED driver.

6-axis IMU
The GIGA Display Shield provides a 6-axis IMU via the BMI270 6-axis IMU (U7). The BMI270 contains both a three-axis gyroscope and a three-axis accelerometer. The information obtained can be used to measure raw motion parameters as well as for machine learning. The BMI270 connects to the GIGA R1 WiFi via a shared I2C connection.

RGB LED
The RGB common anode (DL1) is controlled by a dedicated RGB LED driver IC IS31FL3197-QFLS2-TR (U2), which provides sufficient current for each LED. The RGB LED driver is connected via a common I2C connection to the GIGA main board. The built-in charge pump ensures sufficient voltage is supplied to the LED.

Digital microphone
The MP34DT06JTR is an ultra-compact, low-power, omnidirectional MEMS digital microphone built with a capacitive sensing element and PDM interface. The sensing element, which is capable of detecting acoustic waves, is fabricated using a special silicon micromachining process designed for the production of audio sensors. The microphone is in a single-channel configuration with the audio signals transmitted via the PDM.
