The Raspberry Pi Li-Ion Battery HAT (15141 ) is designed to provide power to the Raspberry Pi microcomputer and other 5V devices. It provides stable 5V power to the device and two-way fast charging. When powered from an external source, the batteries are automatically recharged.

The design of this expansion board is fully compatible with the mounting holes of the Raspberry Pi board, and communication is via a single 40-pin GPIO connector.

Main features:

• SW6106 chip provides bi-directional fast battery charging, supports fast charging protocols such as PD/QC/FCP/PE/SFCP
• standard 40PIN GPIO connector for connecting Raspberry Pi expansion boards;
• battery protection circuits (overcharge/discharge protection; overcurrent protection; short circuit protection and reverse protection);
• 5V USB interface for powering external devices
• battery polarity indicator - signals when batteries are installed in the wrong polarity.
