TheNB-IoT/Cat-M(eMTC)/GNSS HAT for Raspberry Pi, Based on SIM7080G, Globally Applicable is a telecommunication expansion card (HAT) that has a variety of communication functions: NB-IoT (NarrowBand-Internet of Things), Cat-M (also known as eMTC, Enhanced Machine-to-Machine Communication) and GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System).
With the development of LTE telecommunication technology, 2G/3G networks are gradually disappearing, the future world will be dominated by IoT technologies consisting of low-bandwidth NB-IoT/Cat-M standards and high-bandwidth 4G/5G standards.
