The Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 is not included
Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 Mini-Computer Base Board (B) (20256 ) is a kit that includes a base board and a metal case with a fan, which allows you to build a full-fledged microcomputer based on the Raspberry Pi CM4 compute module (the compute module itself is not included in this kit). This kit allows you to create industrial-grade projects, including stereo vision projects based on Raspberry Pi.

Thanks to the wall-mount design of the case, it can be easily mounted on almost any surface.

The base board and the computing module are protected by a sturdy two-piece metal case. The case has openings for all major interfaces, including an external antenna (antenna not included). A cooling fan is built into the case for better heat transfer.

For your convenience, all places for external interfaces are labeled.

The main elements of the base board:

- CM4 connector for all Compute Module 4 variants
- Power input/Programming - for 5 V/2.5 A power input or used for eMMC writing
- DISP - MIPI DSI display port
- FAN for connecting a cooling fan, which allows you to adjust and measure its speed
- CAM - 2 MIPI CSI camera ports
- HDMI0 connector - HDMI0 port, supports 4K 30fps output
- USB 2.0 ports - 2 USB 2.0 ports for connecting various USB devices
- Gigabit Ethernet connector - RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet connector with 10/100/1000M network support
- M.2 indicator - shows the operating status of the M.2 interface
- ACT indicator - indicates the operating status of the Raspberry Pi
- PWR indicator - indicates the status of the Raspberry Pi power supply
- Selecting the BOOT bootloader
- ON: CM4 will boot from the USB-C interface
- OFF: CM4 will boot from an eMMC or Micro SD card - 40-pin GPIO connector
- Micro SD card slot
- HDMI1 FFC connector - HDMI1 port, supports 4K 30fps output
- USB 2.0 FFC connector - can be connected via an adapter
- FE1.1S - USB HUB chip that expands one USB port to 4 ports
- M.2 slot supports NVME SSDs or communication modules with PCIE M.2 KEY-M interface
- RTC chip enables RTC-related functions such as wakeup, shutdown, reboot, etc.
- Selecting the RTC interrupt
- PI-RUN: Restart CM4 after an RTC interrupt
- GN-EN: Disable CM4 due to an RTC interrupt
- D4: D4 pin is triggered by an RTC interrupt - EMC2301 fan controller for speed control / measurement
- RTC battery holder supports CR1220 type battery cell
